Every cyclist is unique and needs a fit tailored to their combination of body shape, flexibility, and strength. Our physiotherapists in Edmonton are experts at assessing the body and analysing motion. Together, we will find your perfect fit through a detailed biomechanical assessment both on and off the bike.
Key benefits:

To allow for a thorough assessment and proper fitting, bike fits are broken up into two separate sessions:
Session 1: Physiotherapy assessment (at Connect Physiotherapy & Exercise)
All fittings start with a 60 minute assessment. We’ll look at your mobility, strength, and any functional restrictions you may have around cycling. We’ll talk through your detailed riding history and cycling goals. You’ll get a targeted exercise program and manual therapy techniques to address any problem areas.
Session 2: Bike fit (at United Cycle)
During this two hour session, we get your bike dialled in, methodically working through adjustments to your shoes and cleats (or foot position if you ride with flat pedals), seat, and handlebars. As you’re riding, we’ll gather specific measurements of joint angles and positions. We’ll explain each and every change as we make it, and you’ll leave with a report detailing your bike’s new geometry.
Our goal is to adjust your current bike and equipment to its maximum potential, but we may also make recommendations on additional equipment to purchase so that in the future you know you’re getting the right gear.
Please note: All bike fits are completed on a Wahoo KICKR ROLLR trainer, and are compatible with:
